The FT25H04 and FT25L04 are new additions to the SPI Interface Family of Serial NOR Flash Integrated Circuits
FREMONT, CA, January 28, 2016 -- Fremont Micro Devices USA Inc. today announced the FT25H04 and FT25L04, Serial NOR Flash integrated circuits. The 4M-bit devices are the next members of the Family of Serial Flash memories which will include memory densities from 2M-bit to 64M-bit arrays. The new devices are specified to operate -40C to +85 degree C, support several operating protocols including standard, dual and quad SPI. The memory organization is 512k bytes x 256 bytes per page. The single power supply voltage range for the H and L versions is 2.7V-3.6V and 1.6-1.9V with Clock Frequency of 120MHz and 40MHz operation and over 100k program/erase cycles with dual I/O data transfer up to 240Mbit/sec. and quad I/O data transfer up to 480Mbit/sec.
"Customers have asked for high density Serial Flash memories in small outline packages for use in embedded designs. The FT25H04 which operates at 3.0V and FT25L04 which operates at 1.8V both are SPI interface Serial Flash IC's. The 4M-bit Integrated Circuits are housed in eight pin packages which provide lower system cost and optimal read write performance. The Serial Flash parts are currently offered in SOIC-8, 150Mil and TSSOP-8, 173 Mil a packages. These small outline packages are suitable for code storage in a range of cost-sensitive computer and consumer electronic products, such as printers, portable information devices, optical disk drives, Wireless LAN modules, and set-top boxes." said Jim Panfil, the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fremont Micro Devices USA. "The 4M-bit parts add to the growing portfolio of Fremont Micro Devices Non Volatile memory solutions." He added.
The list price per unit for orders of 10ku is:
- FT25H04S- RT, SOIC-8 Package $0.08
- FT25H04T- RT, TSSOP-8 Package $0.09
- FT25L04S- RT, SOIC-8 Package $0.12
- FT25L04T- RT, TSSOP-8 Package $0.13
